At Astrid Moon Cattery, we are deeply committed to the health, happiness, and well-being of our kittens. Our adoption process is designed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and thoughtful experience for each new family.

📝 Waiting List

Joining our Waiting List gives you priority access to upcoming litters, the opportunity to request specific characteristics (such as color or gender), and insight into our breeding plans. You’ll also receive priority scheduling for pick-up or delivery.

To join the waiting list, a $250 non-refundable fee is required. This amount will be credited toward your kitten’s final purchase price. Families may pass on up to three kitten offers without losing their spot on the list.

To join, simply contact us via email, and we will provide the necessary application forms and next steps.

📌 Reservation

Once kittens are born, we reach out to families on our waiting list with information on availability, including color and gender.

Kittens become available for reservation at four weeks of age, following their initial veterinary health check. To secure your chosen kitten, we require:

• A signed purchase agreement

• A $500 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to the final cost

This guarantees that your kitten is reserved exclusively for you.

🚗 Pick-Up & ✈️ Delivery

Kittens are ready to go to their new homes between 11 and 14 weeks of age. For international families, kittens may travel after they reach 16 weeks, in compliance with travel regulations.

• Pick-up from our cattery in Austin, Texas is free of charge.

• Local delivery to an airport or personal location is available for an additional fee.

We do not offer cargo shipping. Instead, we provide a personal flight nanny service, where your kitten travels in the aircraft cabin with a dedicated escort to ensure maximum safety and comfort.

Our flight nanny service includes:

• In-cabin transport with a trusted nanny

• All airline arrangements and pet travel fees

• A comfortable carrier

• Travel supplies: calming support, food, water, and litter

• Consistent communication and support during the journey
